My Everyday Makeup Routine

No matter the occasion—whether it’s a dinner date, a special event, or just running errands—I always apply the same makeup look. While I love experimenting with different eyeshadow or lipstick shades, my core products rarely change. I wanted to share my go-to makeup products that I have been loving for everyday wear.

Prepping the Skin:

Lately, I’ve been obsessed with using the Rhode products to get my skin perfectly moisturized and primed for makeup. I use the Glazing Milk, Peptide Glazing Fluid, and Barrier Restore Cream, in that order, which leave my skin feeling hydrated, plump, and prepped for application.

For the Base

When it comes to my foundation, I’ve been a loyal fan of the Ogee Sculpted Complexion Stick in the shade Linden 1.75N for a few years. It provides the perfect natural finish with just the right amount of coverage. For days when I want a bit more coverage, I reach for the Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk Foundation in 7, which gives a radiant, flawless look without feeling heavy.

As for concealer, I love the Merit Concealer Stick in Suede for a more natural, everyday look. When I’m going for full glam, nothing beats the Tarte Shape Tape in 27H for a brightened under-eye.

Contour & Blush

I’ve recently become obsessed with the Westman Atelier Contour Stick in the shade Biscuit. It blends seamlessly into the skin, giving me a natural, sculpted look that lasts all day. For blush, my new favorite is the Rhode Pocket Blush in Freckle, which melts into the skin like butter. On days when I want to switch things up, I’ll alternate with the Armani Luminous Silk Cheek Tint in 62 or the YSL Liquid Blush in 37, both of which give that same gorgeous, luminous flush.

As for bronzer, I’ve been a die-hard fan of the Benefit Caramel Hoola since high school, but I’ll alternate between that and the YSL All Hours Hyper Bronze.

To lock everything in place, I always finish with a light dusting of blush powder. The Armani Beauty Luminous Silk Glow Blush in 51 is my go-to for the perfect soft pink hue that complements my skin tone beautifully.

Setting Powder:

Oily skin has always been a challenge for me, especially as the day goes on. That’s why setting powder is a must in my routine to keep my face mattified and the oils under control. I recently switched to the Polite Society Setting Powder in Brightening Petal. Not only does it do an incredible job at blurring any imperfections, but it also keeps my skin looking matte without feeling cakey. I also love to stick the YSL All Hours Hyper Finish Powder in my bag for retouches on-the-go.

The Eyes:

The day I switched from black eyeliner and mascara to brown was the day I received so many compliments on how good my makeup looked. Since I have hazel/green eyes the brown makes them pop without overpowering them the way black sometimes did. Now, I swear by the Valentino Beauty Colorgraph Eyeliner in Brown Fondant and the YSL Lash Clash Mascara in Brown.

For eyeshadow, I’ve been loving the Valentino Eye2Cheek in shade 3. It’s the perfect way to add a pop of color and a soft pink hue to my lids for an everyday look. But when I’m going for a smokier, more dramatic eye, I always reach for Armani Beauty Eye Tints. They glide on with one swipe and are super easy to blend, even with just my fingers.

The Lips:

The lips is what I love to experiment with. For a night out I might add a pop of red, but on most days I keep my lip combo the same. The one product I always use is the Sacheu Beauty Lip Liner Stain in shade Clover or HEY-zel. I leave it on for about 5-10 minutes before removing it and it lasts ALL day. On top of this I am always alternating between the Prada Beauty Lipstick in B101, the YSL Loveshine in 202 or 207, the Valentino Beauty Spike Lip in 134R, the Clinique Black Honey, or the L.A. Girl Lip Liner in shade sugar & spice. When I want to top off my lips with a gloss the Rhode Lip Tint in Espresso and the Olehenriksen Peptide Lip in Crème Brûlée.

To Finish it Off:

Even though I was never into setting sprays, I now own two which I alternate between. The Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Flawless Setting Spray and the Urban Decay All Nighter. The Charlotte Tilbury spray adds more glow back into the skin which I appreciate during colder months when my face tends to be less oily. However, the Urban Decay does a better job at keeping my makeup intact when my face does get oily.

As you can see, I didn’t include anything for eyebrows. I always just lift them up into place with some brow gel but I don’t have any specific product that I LOVE. If you have any recommendations for a great eyebrow gel I would love to try out your favorite!!
